While we're famous for our gundog training facilities, it's not all about gundog breeds and we welcome all dogs of all shapes and sizes here at Mid Wales Holidays and allow you to bring multiple dogs per booking.
A home from home for you and your dogs
Dogs are allowed to stay with you in our holiday cottages as long as they are well-behaved and toilet trained.
You are welcome to allow your dogs to sleep on the beds with you if you provide your own bed linen. We also allow clean dogs on the sofas provided that the furniture is well covered with a suitable throw or blanket.
If you have lots of dogs and don’t want them all indoors with you, there are outdoor kennel facilities which can be secured if you bring a padlock. The kennel can also be a handy place to leave them to dry off if they are wet after a walk, trip to the beach or from swimming in our pond.
If your dog struggles to settle in new places, they may be more comfortable sleeping in the car at night, providing that the weather is suitable and they have access to water. There is ample and secure on-site parking directly in front of the cottage.
Dog sitting & training at Mid Wales Holidays
Owner Collette May is a professional gundog trainer who also founded a very successful dog training, walking and sitting business in Surrey.
During your stay, you can take advantage of the day boarding service we offer so you can enjoy a day or evening meal out without your pet sometimes.
You can also book one-to-one dog training sessions, and we regularly host gundog training holidays here too.

- 15 acres of fenced, private, fields and woodland for our guests’ exclusive use. Please note that there are sheep in surrounding fields and that while fenced and gated we cannot guarantee that the boundaries are fully secure.
