This modern, open plan 1-bed self-catering barn conversion sleeps up to 4 people, has wonderful oak beams and great views.
Inside Penrhyllan
Penrhyllan comprises one double bedroom, with a comfortable double sofa-bed in the lounge, if required.
The bedroom has amazing views of the mountains which can be enjoyed with your morning brew in bed. The double room features a double bed, a chest of drawers, two bedside tables, and a wardrobe.
In the hall, there is additional space to hang coats and keep shoes and muddy boots. There are hard floors throughout the living areas.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and everything you need to meet most culinary requirements. There is also a washing machine.
The bathroom has a spacious shower cubicle, heated towel rail, and built-in cupboards with a sink and WC. The large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features oak beams, a sofa bed, a TV, a DVD player and Firestick with Netflix and other streaming service apps. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Starlink WIFI are all included.
If you would like your dogs to sleep on the bed with you during your stay, please bring your own bed linen. All accommodation is on the ground floor, although please note that there are three steps leading up and into the accommodation itself.
Outside Penrhyllan
Out front, there is a safe and spacious parking area which is shared with our 2-bed cottage, Y Beudy. You will also have shared use of the outdoor seating and patio area, cycle store and barbecue.
As guests, you are invited to enjoy our private fields and woods at your leisure during your stay. You are more than welcome to wander 15 acres of private grounds, at your leisure.
The grounds feature a mix of woodland, grassland and cover crops (depending on the season) and are often used for gundog training with mown strips for retrieving, height-adjustable log jumps into the woods and a fixed jumping pen in the field.
The grounds consist of 15 acres of fields, two ponds including one for dogs to swim in and a fenced-off wildlife pond, plus two woods. One wood is a lovely open bluebell wood with mature oak and beech trees. The other wood is more dense and therefore a perfect home for a variety of different wildlife.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We were made very welcome, including our little dog who was confined to the cottage because of health reasons. Our stay was brief but we’re looking forward to returning for a longer stay, when the dog is better and we can get out and explore.
Such a cosy stay, everything pristine, views so beautiful, comfortable beds, hot shower, well equipped kitchen, lovely area, would highly recommend. Thanks for the stay!
The cottage is set in beautiful countryside. There is a fantastic private small woodland for walking dogs on site. The rooms are all recently renovated and very clean. We cooked a lot at the cottage and had everything we needed. All in all a peaceful restful stay.
This place was fantastic for us a family with children, a pensioner and dogs. Had all the comforts needed, felt spacious but cosy. The woodland was great to walk the dogs in at the end of a busy day exploring Wales. Fantastic beautiful surroundings very peaceful.
Lovely two-night break on the farm. Quiet surroundings and just what we needed. Good wifi and television services which was great to chill out and do nothing for a day or two! Thanks Collette for providing a great place to stay.
Very nice, well-kept apartment in the middle of the countryside. Here you have your peace, space and a wonderful sunset. The large rural property is free to roam, there is outdoor seating and dogs are very welcome. The kitchenette is spacious, clean and modern, making self-catering fun. (Translated)
