Making the most of your half-term family holiday

Want to head somewhere with the kids that’s not dog-friendly?

Your host Collette May has been working professionally with dogs for over a decade and previously ran a very successful dog walking, sitting and training business in Surrey before relocating to Wales.

During your stay, you can take advantage of the day boarding and dog sitting service we offer so you can enjoy a day or evening meal out without your pet.

Your half-term home away from home

Y Beudy, our charming 2-bed holiday cottage, was designed with families and their canine companions in mind.

Y Beudy comfortably sleeps up to 5 people. The cottage features a cosy double bedroom, a snug single room perfect for kids, and a spacious double sofa bed in the lounge. For our dog-loving guests, we're all for cuddles on the bed – just bring your own linens!

While there are tons of fantastic places to eat locally, if you’re kids are fussy eaters or you’d rather keep within a budget or avoid the hassle of going out, the kitchen/diner is a dream for those who would rather cook. It’s fully equipped with modern appliances and all the essentials to rustle up a culinary delight.

The large living room, with its exposed brickwork and beams, is the perfect spot for family movie nights or board game marathons.

Out front, there is a safe and spacious parking area which is shared with our 1-bed cottage, Penrhyllan. You will also have shared use of the outdoor seating and patio area, cycle store and barbecue.

As guests, you are also invited to enjoy our private fields and woods at your leisure during your stay. The grounds feature a mix of woodland, grassland and cover crops (depending on the season) and are often used for gundog training with mown strips for retrieving, height-adjustable log jumps into the woods and a fixed jumping pen in the field.

There’s plenty of space for family games of football, rounders, hide and seek and tag!
